| Biography: |
| Kevin Gunderson was drafted by the Braves in the fifth round of the 2006 draft. He won the College World Series for Oregon State and then joined the Braves for his first taste of pro ball. Gunderson pitched one game in Danville before being moved up to Rome. In 14 games in the South Atlantic League, Gunderson had 3 saves, a 1.13 ERA, allowed only three runs and 16 hits in 24 innings. Gunderson will head to spring training with a great chance at winning a job in Myrtle Beach's bullpen. Gunderson is a candidate to be a lefty setup man in the big leagues. He could be in the big leagues as soon as 2008. |
