EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon men's basketball team was picked to finish sixth in the 2009-10 Pac-10 Conference Preseason Media Poll released Thursday. The Ducks received 175 points, finishing ahead of Arizona State (144 pts) and behind Oregon State (218).   Full Story

Eugene, OR - It was Media Day for Oregon's basketball team today at MacArthur Court and despite last seasons dismal record, there was a lot of optimism among the players and coaches. The Ducks finished last in the Pac-10 during the 2008-09 campaign, winning only two of 18 conference games.   Full Story

Oregon's most frustrating men's basketball season ended on Wednesday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles when the Ducks lost to Washington State 62-40. The Cougars jumped out and never trailed in the first round of the Pac-10 Tournament.   Full Story

Eugene – You would have thought the Ducks had just cinched a birth in the final four on their home court by the reaction of the crowd, but when the horn sounded and the students rushed onto the floor, Oregon (8-20, 2-14) had beaten Oregon State (13-14, 7-9) by a score of 79-69.   Full Story

Eugene, OR - The California Golden Bears (20-6, 9-4) defeated the Oregon Ducks (6-20, 0-14) at McArthur Court on Thursday evening 78-60 behind a career-high 18 points from reserve Harper Kamp. Cal guards Jerome Randle and Patrick Christopher chipped in with 17 and 16 points respectively. Eugene – For the first 20 minutes of the Oregon-Arizona game it looked like the Ducks would snap out the zero-for-frustration Pac-10 season, but three Wildcats destined for the NBA took control of the second half and Oregon ended up losing 87-77.    Full Story

Corvallis – The Oregon Ducks (6-15) let an 11-point lead in the first half slip away and lost to the Oregon State Beavers (10-10, 4-5) 57-54. Oregon was plagued by turnovers, particularly in the second half and missed golden opportunities underneath the basket as the Ducks go winless in Pac-10 play.    Full Story
