Victor Burnett from Culver City, Calif., attended the USC/Washington State game on Sept. 26 and was in the locker room after the game talking to Jethro Franklin, who was Burnett’s father’s host when his father took an official visit to Fresno State. We spoke to Burnett by phone the next day and at that time, he believed there was a good chance the Trojans could offer him a scholarship.
