LeKendric Longmire and the Ducks played tough defense down low all night long. Here, he stuffs Drew Gordon and actually draws a held ball, which went to Oregon.

Michael Dunigan stuffed James Keefe's lay-up attempt as the Ducks tried to keep the game close in the first half. Despite the defense down low, UCLA was up 11 thanks to 8-10 shooting from three.

Joevan Catron got the Ducks going early in the second half with this three point play the old fashioned way, drawing a foul on Alfred Aboya, making the shot and hitting his free throw.

Josh Crittle had the block of the game as he went up to reject Darren Collison's dunk attempt in the second half, which combined with Catron's three point play, brought the crowd to a frenzy.

Tajuan Porter cut the second half deficit to 51-46 with this soft floater in the lane...

...and after he drove and dished the ball to Kamyron Brown, Brown nailed a three to cut the lead to three with about 12 minutes to go.

The crowd was into it, the Duck was surfing the Pit Crew, and hopes were high...

Unfortunately for the Ducks, Darren Collison saw Porter coming and drew this charge with Ducks only down 66-60...

...and Josh Shipp tipped the ball away from Porter from behind, sealing Oregon's fate.

Coach Kent did his best to keep Oregon fired up, but in the end there is no substitute for experience.
