It was a night to remember for Duck fans, as the kids from Eugene scored more points against an OSU team than any team before them, Civil War or not. The 65-38 drubbing was a record setter and Bellotti's team played hard from beginning to end.

LeGarrette Blount ran for 115 yards on 17 carries and here breaks free for a 46 yard scamper. Seems Mark Lewis (71) thought Blount would score but he was right about - the Ducks were #1 in the NW.
Not to be outdone, JJ had this truly amazing run at the end of the first half - here he almost loses the ball...
...before just barely getting the ball past the pylon to cap off an 83-yard touchdown run.
Jeremiah Masoli engineered six touchdown drives, and put the finishing touches on this one himself. His TD kept the Beavers at bay in the second half.
Nick Reed set the Oregon record for sacks in a season by getting to Lyle Moevao three times, including on this play.
Beaver fan looked like he wanted to cry when Oregon pulled away late...maybe those reservations for Pasadena were pre-mature after all...
If this was indeed Mike Bellotti's defining moment as Oregon's coach, it's safe to say he will long be remembered as the coach who hung 65 on the Beavers...and got a very cold Gatorade bath for it!
Think the Ducks didn't know what was at stake for the Beavers? Think again. They were tearing up roses in the aftermath of the blowout - here Jairus Byrd does the honors...
...and soon after a fan handed LeGarrette a rose he went to work, treating similarly to the way he treated OSU's defense.
In the end, there were smiling faces all over the field and LeGarrette Blount signed a fans shirt while the scoreboard in the background told the story in all its glory.
