Lineman Decides on Ducks after Visit

Ryan Clanton, 6-5, 300, knew a couple of guys when he traveled to Eugene last weekend for an official visit. However, when the SFCC sophomore met the Oregon line, Clanton felt right at home and by the end of the visit knew that Oregon was the place for him. Clanton became the 14th verbal commitment this season, and he plans on enrolling for winter term at Oregon.

Ryan Clanton is a team captain, and has started on the offensive line for San Francisco City College for two years in a row. He was a pre-season JC All-American and is being recruited by Oregon as a guard or tackle, but has played at every line position while at SFCC.
