Eugene -- Many expected the Oregon-USC game to be a low scoring affair but the first half demonstrated this contest is anything but that. Oregon went into the locker room leading 24-17.

Jeremiah Masoli was 9-of-11, 93 yards and a touchdown. Masoli also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. LaMichael James ran for 80 yards on nine carries and is the game's leading rusher. Jamere Holland had two catches for 26 yards including the final touchdown of the half.

Matt Barkley was impressive going 16-for-22, 138 yards and two touchdowns. Joe McKnight was the leading Trojan rusher with 50 yards on 11 carries. Damian Willams had seven catches for 70 yards and a score. Ronald Johnson also had touchdown pass reception.
