The Oregon-Washington game draws a lot of attention from Northwest Media and here are some Sunday morning observations from writers that covered the game. Oregon overwhelmed Washington 43-19 at Husky Stadium on Saturday.

Greg Jayne of The Vancouver Columbian asked what rivalry Huskies’ lastest growing pain is unrivaled.

The Herald of Everett point out that the Huskies are looking more like teams of the recent past, according to Scott Johnson in his story entitled Dawgs lose sixth straight to Ducks.

Todd Mills from The News Tribune thought all the fervor of a week long build up of the game "fizzled in a flurry of feathers," in his story Ducks run over and through Huskies.

This morning Seattle Times has several pieces.
Steve Kelley: Huskies are suffering grom growing pains
Bud Withers: Ducks take victory over WU in stride.
Bod Condotta: Same old story: Huskies no match for Ducks
Percy Allen: Masoli get going in second half for Ducks.
Condotta again: Special teams not so special for Huskies.

John Hunt led off the coverage for the Oregoina with his report: Ducks steamroll Huskies, set up showdown with USC.
Ken Goe added: Oregon, USC on a collision course.
John Canzano opined Oregon State's demise shows Oregon the path to beating USC.
Mike Tokito wrote. Oregon-USC: 'It will definitely be big. It will be huge.'
Lastly, John Hunt's Top 25 AP poll: Oregon still at No. 9; Kelly doesn't care ... yet.

The Portland Tribune's Jason Vondersmith wrote, Ducks put Huskies away in second half, win 43-19.

The Eugene Register-Guard's coverage headlined Rob Moseley's story, Seamless in Seattle.
Adam Jude added, Block clears Ducks for takeoff
and Ducks lock down UW quarterback
while George Schroeder considered Ducks defy explanation, expectations.
