It was the much awaited return of the Oregon offense today, but not to be outdone, the Oregon defense showed why it will be a force all season long. eDuck photographer Chris Wilson was joined by Curt St. Denis, who helped capture the blow-out.

Masoli did in the Bears with his legs and his arm.
Jeff Maehl went airborn for this first down in the first quarter as the Ducks established the passing game.
The Oregon defense was suffocating all day long - they held Cal to 11 total yards in the first quarter.
LaMichael James was again putting on the style as this juke freed him up for a long run...
...which ended with what looked a lot like an illegal horse collar...no flag was thrown.
The Ducks put a serious dent in the Heisman hopes of Jahvid Best, who was held in check all day long.
Duck fans were treated to Ed Dickson's emergence this season, with three TDs.  Cal DB Sean Cattouse can only watch while Dickson puts the game away.
The sun shined brightly on the Ducks...are they now the favorites to win the Pac-10?  Only time will tell...
