Eugene -- The Oregon defense picked off two of Joey Elliott's passes in the first half including a Walter Thurmond pick for 6, but Purdue also managed two impressive drives and as a result the game was tied at 17 at halftime.

While the Oregon offense was better than last week with quarterback Jeremiah Masoli throwing for 95 yards on 4-of-10 attempts, Masoli is also the Ducks leading rusher with 60 yards net, including a long of 33. Jamere Holland was the leading receiver with 55 yards, including a long of 40. Ed Dickson also had a catch of 32. Overall the Ducks had 176 yards of total offense (81 rushing). Andre Crenshaw had the lone offensive touchdown, running the ball in from the 3. Thurmond's pick-6 was the highlight of the defense's first half. Penalties have cost the Ducks 51 yards on seven flags.

Elliott was 15-for-25, 142 yards with a long of 24. Ralph Bolden is the game's leading rusher with 74 yards on 13 carries with one touchdown. Jaycen Taylor also had a touchdown run.

Morgan Flint hit a 28-yard field goal for the Ducks' first score. Purdue's Carson Wiggs closed out the first half with a field goal of 23 yards.
