Ducks Suffer Loss at Receiver

Davis had 2 catches for 51 yards on Saturday.

Oregon Head Coach Mike Bellotti is still very happy that his team scored the final touchdown of the game and made good on the 2-point conversion. The coach admits his team cut the time close, but he wanted to make sure there was no time left for Stanford to stage a comeback. The win did come at a price though as a promising starter is going to be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time.

Bellotti reported that sophomore wide receiver Drew Davis suffered a torn ACL during the game yesterday. Initially the coaches thought the injury was a mild sprain but Davis suffered more pain after the conclusion of the game.
