Longmire Now One of the Leaders

Sophomore guard LeKendric Longmire is now one of the "old" guys on a very young Oregon Ducks Men's Basketball team. As the Ducks work their way toward the season opener on Nov. 14, they'll play a couple of exhibition games before hand. On Sunday Oregon takes on Northwest Christian College at McArthur Court wit tipoff at 5 p.m.

Last year Longmire was getting himself established on the court and showed fans that he can be a high flier. He averaged just under four points a contest though he did have a high of 14. This year with so many freshmen that likely will see playing time, Longmire will be counted on not only on the court but also for leadership.

Longmire took time out of practice this week to talk about how things were progressing.
