Release Granted

Forward Drew Viney, 6-7, 210 has been granted a release from the University of Oregon according to a media release from the school.

"Drew asked for his release and we have granted his request," said head coach Ernie Kent. "It’s always tough when a player departs your program, but I respect his decision and understand his desire to continue his career closer to home. Drew did a good job for us this season."

There is no indication where Drew Viney may end up. He saw limited action as a freshman averaging 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in 2007-08.
