ASU Defeats Oregon in Pac-10 Opener

Arizona State defeated Oregon in Tempe, AZ tonight by the score of 62-54 to win only their fourth conference opener in the past 20 years. The Sun Devils were able to slow the pace and limit Oregon to a season low 54 points. ASU was led by freshman sensation James Harden who had a team high 20 points and seven rebounds.

Oregon got off to a hot start behind the play of Maarty Leunen and Franz Dorsainvil who combined to score 13 of the Ducks first 17 points.
