EUGENE – The University of Oregon and Pacific-10 Conference have announced several alterations to the Ducks’ 2008 football schedule that will assure Oregon of a pair of television appearances as part of the conference’s network TV package.

Oregon will open the 2008 season at home Aug. 30 against the University of Washington instead of the previously scheduled season opener vs. Boise State. Following a Sept. 6 home game against Utah State, the Ducks will travel to Purdue on Sept. 13 before returning home to host Boise State Sept. 20.

Both the Washington and Purdue games will be scheduled to be televised on ABC/ESPN.

The remaining changes call for Oregon’s Nov. 22 game at USC to be moved up to Oct. 4 in Los Angeles, while it’s Oct. 18 contest at Arizona State will be delayed a week until Oct. 25.
