EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Sports Network has selected 11 men’s basketball games for telecasts throughout the 2007-08 season. OSN’s selections also means games times for the home slate have been established.

OSN will televise the first three games of the season -- the Nov. 10-12 World Vision Invitational -- on Comcast Sports Net, which can be seen on Comcast Channel 14 in Eugene/Springfield, Portland, Salem and Bend. The schedule for the opening weekend of play features Oregon versus Pepperdine at 4 p.m. on Nov. 10, Oregon against Pacific at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11, and Oregon versus Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12.

Nov. 10 will also mark the first women’s telecast of the season with the Oregon-San Jose State game at 1:30 p.m. preceding the men’s game.

The remaining eight men’s games will be televised on OSN’s network of stations throughout the state: KEZI (9) in Eugene/Springfield, Comcast Cable 14 in Portland, KDRV (12) in Medford, KDKF (13) in Klamath Falls and KOHD (9) in Bend

The eight selected games are:

*Utah, Dec. 8, 3 p.m. (Rose Garden/Pape’ Jam)
*Nebraska, Dec. 22, 11 a.m. (Qwest Center, Omaha, Neb.)
*California, Jan. 10, 6 p.m. (McArthur Court)
*at Washington, Jan. 17, 6 p.m. (Seattle, Wash.)
*Oregon State, Feb. 2, 3 p.m. (McArthur Court)
*at California, Feb. 9, 4 p.m. (Berkeley, Calif.)
*Washington, Feb. 14, 5:30 p.m. (McArthur Court)
*Arizona State, March 6, 6 p.m. (McArthur Court)

March 6 is a Fox Sports Net “wildcard” day, and if the Oregon-Arizona State game is selected, it will begin at 8 p.m. and will be televised by FSN.

One additional game time could change. The Nov. 24 contest against San Francisco at McArthur Court is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip. However, the Oregon football team plays at UCLA that day, and if the football game is selected for a late afternoon start (3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.) for television, then the basketball game will be moved to start 3 1/2 hours prior to the football game (either noon or 1 p.m.). The San Francisco game will not be televised.

Also, the March 8 game against Arizona is another FSN “wildcard” game, and will be played in one of three televison windows beginning at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.

Between OSN, the Pac-10 television package and a pair of ESPNU games, 24 of Oregon’s 30 regular season men’s games will be televised.
