ATLANTA — Senior point guard Aaron Brooks, coming off of his 27-point performance in Oregon’s Elite Eight loss to the defending national champion Florida Gators, will participate in the NABC’s three-point shooting competition Thursday in Atlanta.
Named as a third team All-American by the Associated Press and second team All-America by The Sporting News, Brooks shot 40.4 percent on three-pointers this season (80-198). His 80 three-pointers made ranked tied for ninth on the UO single-season list and was second on the team behind freshman

The Seattle, Wash., native is currently leading the Pac-10 in scoring at 17.7 points per game, which has also garnered him a spot on the Wooden Award All-America Team, announced Wednesday. He is poised to become the first Duck to win the Pac-10 scoring title since
