Brooks in 3-Point Contest at Final Four
The Seattle, Wash., native is currently leading the Pac-10 in scoring at 17.7 points per game, which has also garnered him a spot on the Wooden Award All-America Team, announced Wednesday. He is poised to become the first Duck to win the Pac-10 scoring title since Terrell Brandon in 1990-91 (26.6 ppg).
Brooks' scheduled competition will include Texas A&M's Acie Law IV, Stephen Sir of Northern Arizona, Colin Falls of Notre Dame, Adam Haluska of Iowa, Jarrius Jackson of Texas Tech, Demetris Nichols of Syracuse and Kammron Taylor of Wisconsin.
The event will be broadcast on ESPN at 6 p.m. PDT alongside a slam dunk competition for men and a three-point competition for women' players. The competition, which is sponsored by State Farm, will be held at Georgia State University.
