The 4-1 Oregon Ducks look to rebound for a win at home against the Georgetown Hoyas Saturday at noon. After suffering a loss on a last second prayer at the hands of Vanderbilt, 76-75 in Nashville, the Ducks hope to regain momentum and continue the 35-game non-conference win streak at McArthur Court. Georgetown, 2-1, has wins over Navy (72-49) and James Madison (73-66) and also have lost to Vanderbilt, 68-61. The game will be televised nationally by Fox Sports Net.

Oregon will face the tallest team they've faced so far this season, led by Roy Hibbert, 7-2, 16.3 ppg, and have two other players on the starting front line that are over 6-9. Forward Jeff Green, 6-9, 10.3 ppg is the team's second leading scorer behind Hibbert while fellow forward Brandon Bowman, 6-9, has a 9.0-point per game average. Green is the team's leading rebounder with7.0 rebounds per game. Guard Ashanti Cook, 6-2, is averaging 8.7 ppg and is shooting .500 from the field. Guard Jonathan Wallace, 6-1, 9.7 ppg is also averaging 2.0 assists so far this season.

Sophomore Malik Hairston, 6-6, had his career high in scoring against Vanderbilt with 25 points. Hairston is also the Ducks' leading scorer with 15.6 ppg and guard Bryce Taylor, 6-5, is right behind Hairston in scoring with an 11.4-point per game average. Guard Aaron Brooks, 6-0 has 8.8 ppg and 4.6 assists per game so far this season. Forward Maarty Leunen, 6-9 is averaging 8.6 points and is the team's leading rebounder with 9.0 rebounds per game. Center Ray Schafer, 7-0 is scoring at a 7.0-point per game pace and pulling down 4.6 rebounds per contest.

Oregon came very close to being undefeated to this point of the season had it not been for a running 33-foot 3-point shot at the buzzer by Vanderbilt's Mario Moore last Wednesday. While the loss was disappointing, the Ducks played well in a hostile environment on the road. Hairston also had 10 rebounds against the Commodores and Schafer had his career high in rebounds with 8.

University of Oregon student-athletes will collect new toys and given to Toys for Tots! of the Eugene area. The collection points will be at the entrances of Mac Court. The effort is being sponsored by the University of Oregon Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

The game on Saturday will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net with tip-off scheduled at 12:00 p.m. The game will also be carried on the radio by OSN with Jerry Allen, the Voice of the Ducks calling the action.
