Video of Kellen Clemens at Barton Quarterback Camp

This past weekend Kellen Clemens traveled to Beaverton High School to workout at the Greg Barton's invitation only Quarterback Camp. Scout.com managed to video some of Clemens' workout.

Clemens is preparing for the 2005 season and has indicated he will stay in Eugene over the summer. The senior from Burns (Ore.) and threw for 2,548 yards last season completing 223 passes on 372 attempts, 22 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 445 yards on 118 carries, with a net of 190 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

Next season, the Ducks intend to use a spread offense that will see Clemens receiving more snaps from the shotgun. During the spring workouts held in April, Clemens and his teammates Dennis Dixon and Brady Leaf demonstrated that the offense should provide more fire power as there should be more receivers running pass routes than had been the case last season. The new offense should take advantage of not only Clemens passing skills but also his rushing ability.

The passing camp stressed fundamentals and Clemens was among 14 quarterbacks and 22 wide receivers to participate in the workout.
