ACL shortens Allen's season.

Keith Allen was looking for a big year as an Oregon Duck wide receiver. When eDuck Sports talked to him on Media Day (August 5th) the junior from Torrance, California felt very confident. In fact he indicated the strength of his game was his ability to break tackles. <br><br> "I should be able to break a DB's tackle at anytime," said Allen.

Two days later Allen tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will be lost for the season. Allen had appeared in a total of 20 games in his two varsity years at Oregon. His biggest effort was a 42-yard reception and run against Utah in his redshirt freshman year of 2001. The 6-1 receiver has a total of 10 receptions in his two years on the field...
