Free Shuttle for NCAAs

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon is offering a free shuttle for those fans looking for the easiest way to get to and from the 2014 NCAA Track and Field Championships, which will be held at Historic Hayward Field this Wednesday through Saturday.

Shuttles will depart from Autzen Stadium's south side beginning three hours prior to the first event of the day and will run continuously every 15 to 30 minutes throughout the competition. The last shuttle of the day will depart Hayward Field 60 minutes after the final event.

The shuttles are free to the public, and there is no charge to park at Autzen Stadium. Parking is available through Entry 5 off Leo Harris Parkway on the south side of Autzen Stadium.

A free bicycle valet will also be available outside the southwest corner of the Knight Law School (15th Avenue across from Gate 8). It opens two hours prior to gates opening, and closes 30 minutes post meet.

Fans are also reminded that no alcohol or tobacco is permitted at Hayward Field.

Other prohibited items for the NCAA Championships include glass or metal containers, vacuum bottles or other similar insulated containers (thermos-type containers), weapons of any sort, fireworks, laser pointers, explosives, or munitions. Patrons agree as a condition of the ticket license to allow inspection of any article capable of concealing these prohibited items.

Open plastic beverage containers ARE allowed, as long as they are empty upon entrance to the stadium.

Open umbrellas will not be permitted in the seating and aisle areas of Hayward Field.

Tickets for the 2014 NCAA Championships are still available can be purchased in person at the Bowerman Building (15th Avenue) or the ticket windows at Gate 9 (17th Avenue & Agate Street) when gates open to the public. Advance ticket sales will be available at the Bowerman Building.

All fans entering Hayward Field must have a ticket, except for those fans under two years of age. Any child under 24 months must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.

Other general reminders for fans:

· There are no ATM's inside Hayward Field.

The closest ATM's are located at the Knight Law School 1st floor (south end) and Erb Memorial Union (EMU) on the University Street side

· Concession stands sales are cash only.
