4-star QB Locksley Has Top 6

Baltimore Gilman School four-star quarterback Kai Locksley released his top six Thursday. Which schools made the list?

Four-star quarterback Kai Locksley of Baltimore Gilman School released his top six schools, and they are spread across the country.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Locksley named Auburn, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Oregon, Texas and Florida State as his top six, and added there are no leaders.

Of the six schools, Auburn, Florida State and Texas have quarterbacks committed in the 2015 class.

Albuquerque (N.M.) Eldorado's Zach Gentry committed to the Longhorns a few weeks ago, but Locksley's father, Mike, the offensive coordinator at Maryland, is close friend with Texas coach Charlie Strong.

Locksley is trying to make his decision prior to the start of his senior season. Last month he said he wanted to trim his list. The top 10 he released in April also included Miami, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Baylor, but those four didn't make the latest cut.
