Playing for the first time at USC as a program, Pyne helped the Ducks come out victorious, 10-8, as she scored the equalizing goal with 6:32 left in the first half to make it 4-4. The freshman also recorded two groundballs and caused one turnover in the win.
The Edgewater, Md., native then had a career-day at San Diego State, netting a career-high four goals. The four points at SDSU also set a career-high for the freshman.
Pyne helped Oregon start the second half against SDSU with a 3-0 run thanks to her natural hat-trick. She then finished off with her fourth goal in the waning moments of the game. Pyne was also 1-for-1 in free-position opportunities in UO's 13-6 win on over the Aztecs.
The first-year midfielder is sixth on the team with 18 goals and eighth in points with 18. Pyne is second on the team with 14 goals in conference play, trailing teammate Nikki Puszcz (15) by just one goal. The freshman is also the fourth highest point-scorer for the Ducks in MPSF play with 14.
