LAS VEGAS -- Oregon junior shooting guard Joseph Young was named to the All-Tournament Team on Saturday. Young scored 48 points in Oregon's two appearances in the tournament. Young was joined on the All-Tourney team with Aaron Gordan and Nick Johnson of Arizona, Chasson Randle of Stanford and Askia Booker of Colorado. UCLA's Kyle Anderson was named Most Outstanding Player.

Joseph Young scored 19 in Oregon's win over Oregon State on Wednesday. The Ducks beat the Beavers 88-74 but then ran in to a refocused UCLA losing 82-63 on Thursday. Young was the only Duck to score in double figures ending up with 29.

Oregon had beaten UCLA on Feb. 27, 87-83 on UCLA's home court. In fact the Ducks had been the conferences hottest team going into the Tournament with an eight game win streak.

Young is Oregon's leading scorer averaging 18,6 points per game.

The Ducks (23-9, 10-8) now await word of where they might go in March Madness when the NCAA selection committee announces the NCAA Tournament seeding. The Pac-12 hopes to get six and possibly seven teams into the tournament.

The four day tournament concluded Saturday afternoon when UCLA won the championship game by beating Arizona, 75-71 in front of a sold out crowd of 12,916 at the MGM Grand. Recommended Stories
