Moser Named Player of the Week

The Pac-12 Conference announced on Monday that Oregon senior forward Mike Moser was named the conference Player of the Week for his performance last weekend against UCLA and USA.

Mike Moser averaged 16.0 rebounds and 16.0 points per game against UCLA and USC on the road as the Ducks swept the Los Angeles schools and helped keep a five-game win streak alive.

The honor was Moser's first since joining the Ducks last fall. Previously he had been named Mountain West player of the week four times while attending UNLV.

Moser earned a Bachelor's Degree from UNLV but had one year of eligibility left and chose to transfer to Oregon. For the season, Moser is the second leading scorer for the Ducks at 13.5 ppg and the leading rebounder at 7.8 rpg.

Oregon finishes off the regular season this week with a Tuesday night home game against Arizona State. Tipoff for that game is 8 p.m. (Pacific) at Matthew Knight Arena. The game will be carried live by Fox Sports 1. Arizona is the final match up of the regular season on Saturday, with tip off set for 1 p.m. (Pacific) on a game carried live by CBS.

Next week the Ducks travel to MGM Grand in Las Vegas hoping to defend the Pac-12 Conference Tournament championship. The tourney will start on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday.
