The Ducks have placed in the top five in five-of-six tournaments this season. In Sunday’s final round, Oregon posted a 300 (+16) to hold their fifth place position. Oregon carded a 296 (+12) in the opening round.
Junior Cassy Isagawa led the Ducks by posting her fourth top 10 finish of the season. The Wailuku, Hawaii, native placed tied for fourth with a 36 hole card of 141 (-1). She fired a steady even par (71) closing round. Isagawa birdied holes No. 7 and 8 before carding a double-bogey on the ninth hole. She closed with a streak of 13 straight pars to provide Oregon’s top finish.
Isagawa has carded nine rounds at or below par this season. She improves her team-best season round average to 72.1.
Freshman Cathleen Santoso placed tied for 21st with a two-round score of 150 (+8). In today’s final round, Santoso fired a five-over par round of 76. She birdied holes No. 1 and 10 and made 11 pars. Santoso finished one stroke away of tallying her sixth straight top 20 finish.
Freshman Marcella Pranovia placed tied for 28th, tallying her second career top 30 finish, with a two-round tally of 151 (+9). Pranovia shot a 76 (+5) in today’s final round with three birdies and nine pars. Pranovia led the 75 player field in par three scoring, finishing 3-under for the tournament on par threes.
Junior Cali Hipp and sophomore Caroline Inglis each tied for 47th with a two round score of 155 (+13). Inglis shot a 77 (+6) to improve two places in the leaderboard. Inglis birdied the par-five first hole and made nine pars. Hipp carded a 78 (+7) with a birdie on the par-four second hole and 10 pars.
Oregon returns to action on Feb. 23, competing at the two-day Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. Action will be held on Westbrook Village Golf Course.
