DAT to the NFL

One of the most exciting players in the history of Oregon football will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL draft. De'Anthony Thomas is headed to the pros according to a story on the Oregon Athletic Department's official web site, GoDucks.com.

In a story on GoDucks.com, Thomas said through a prepared statement that he is withdrawing from the University in order to pursue a professional career.

Thomas finished career with 5,345 all-purpose yards and easily one of the most recognizable Duck on and off the field.

Last season Thomas was slowed with an ankle injury sustained on the opening kickoff against California but while missing three complete games and the majority of the Cal game, scored 10 touchdowns by either rushing, receiving or kickoff returns.
