Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich has suspended tight end Pharaoh Brown from participating in the Alamo Bowl because of Brown's involvement in a snow ball fight that got out of hand on the campus of the University of Oregon last week.

The football program made the announcement of Brown's suspension via twitter.

A video apparently recorded by members of the student staff of the Daily Emerald, the University of Oregon's student newspaper, showed students including members of the football team, pelting a car driven by a retired university professor. In the video, the car was blocked by several persons and when the driver attempted to exit the car a bucket filled with snow was tossed inside into the elderly man's face.

On Sunday, Helfrich issued a statement that the actions of team members was unacceptable and that disciplinary action was being taken.
