EUGENE – Oregon and UCLA are deadlocked at 14 apiece as the first half has concluded. Byron Marshall scored on a 40-yard run to highlight the offensive action but two stingy defenses ruled kept the high powered offenses stymied.

UCLA's first score was on a 4-yard run by quarterback Brett Hundley. The Ducks responded on the next drive with a 1-yard plunge by De'Anthony Thomas to even the score at seven after the successful PAT. Oregon's first scoring drive was aided by a 66-yard fake punt run by linebacker Rodney Hardrick.

The Ducks then scored in the second quarter on Byron Marshall's 40-yard run and took the lead after the PAT 14-7. UCLA finished off the scoring in the first half on a 11-yard pass from Hundley to Thomas Duarte.

For the half, Oregon has a total of 298 yards to UCLA's 188.
