Valencia (Calif.) safety Tedric Thompson will be staying in-state.

The three-star committed to Colorado on Wednesday on Fox Sports West's Signing Day show.

Thompson helped the Vikings advance to the CIF-SS Northern Division finals in 2012.

He chose the Buffs over Fresno State and Minnesota, where his older brother played.
