"The visit was very different," Williams said. "Some of the stuff they had us doing there is stuff I never would have thought I'd be doing on a visit. We had dinner at the top of a building overlooking the city and we had a magician performing during the dinner."
Overall the visit went as well as expected according to Williams. But, could he see himself in gold and black on Saturdays?
"Most definitely," Williams said. "They play in the best conference in the country, the SEC. Every Saturday, when you play against SEC teams you have to give it your all because you don't know what's going to happen at the end of the game."
Williams is entertaining offers from Notre Dame, Oregon and Vanderbilt. Oregon was a slight frontrunner a week ago, but he said earlier this week that it is a dead heat after news broke that head coach Chip Kelly would be leaving to coach the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL.
Williams choice could come down to two potential in-home visits that are supposed to happen this week with Vanderbilt and Oregon.
"I know Oregon is coming in on Thursday," Williams said. "I know that Coach Neal and Coach Helfrich are coming."
Williams added that he isn't sure who will be visiting him from Vanderbilt, but that he will be making his choice on January 28 with Chad Simmons of Scout.com. Despite the pressure that comes with a situation like this, Williams said he's unaffected by it.
"It could go either way going into Monday," Williams said. "I just have to sit down and talk with my parents.
"At the end of the day it looks like a lot of pressure but you've got to enjoy it. This is the one time in your life where you have people asking you to come to their school on scholarship just to play a game you love."
