Helfrich New Duck Head Coach

The University of Oregon announced through Twitter that Mark Helfrich will be introduced as the new head football coach for the Ducks at 1 p.m. (Pacific) on Sunday.

Mark Helfrich has been on the Oregon staff for four years and is taking over from Chip Kelly, who left the position last week for the top job of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Helfrich, a native of the state of Oregon is said to have been Kelly's hand picked choice to succeed him for the team that finished No. 2 in the final rankings in the 2012 season.
