Osborne wants Hooper at Tight End

Concord (Calif.) DE Austin Hooper

It's been quite a week for Concord (Calif.) defensive end Austin Hooper. Last Saturday, he helped De La Salle keep it's perfect record with a 49-15 stomping of Folsom in the California Interscholastic Federation Northern Regional Open Division final. As he prepares for another big game this weekend, his father Michael discussed a recent meeting with Oregon coaches.

Austin recorded three sacks against Folsom in the final and had a few key receptions in the game as well. From a father's standpoint, Michael was thrilled. "He performed well, had a good time, had fun," Michael said. "His team came out ahead. It's always a thrill to see that happen."
