Ducks Back To Work on Friday

With reports of Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly making visits to recruits in the Portland area on Tuesday, the Oregon Ducks will start preparation for the 2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Friday.

The Ducks will hold at least eight practices over the next two weeks before breaking for Christmas.

Oregon will face Kansas State on January 3, 2013 at Phoenix College Stadium in Phoenix, Ariz.

Despite speculative rumors of Kelly taking a job in the NFL, the Oregon headman was reportedly in Portland visiting verbal commitments possibly including five-star running back Thomas Tyner from Aloha, four-star offensive lineman Evan Voeller and three-star offensive lineman Doug Brenner from Jesuit (Portland).

Oregon finished the regular season with an 11-1 record and were invited to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, marking the fourth straight BCS Bowl appearance under the Chip Kelly regime. Recommended Stories
