La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat athlete Dionza Blue (6-0, 175), has four offers, but more schools have been reaching out to the two-way prospect.
“I’ve got four offers, from Hawaii, San Diego State, New Mexico State and Bethune-Cookman,” said Blue. “New Mexico State likes me as an athlete, San Diego State for defense, Bethune-Cookman for offense and Hawaii for defense too.”
A handful of schools came by this week to check out Blue.
“Nevada and Wyoming came by and I talked to a Fresno State coach on the phone, and I’ve also been talking to Rutgers and Arizona,” said Blue.
New Mexico State and Hawaii are expected next week to come in for an in-home visit with Blue, the Aggies coaches coming on Tuesday.
“Fresno State, Nevada and Arizona could be close to offering me too,” said Blue.
Blue said he’ll be visiting San Diego State officially in January.
What side of the ball he plays is still up in the air.
“I’d probably choose to play in the slot, but I’m fine with defense too,” said Blue.
