Update: Remington's Suspension Lifted

The city of Eugene dismissed the DUII charges against senior defensive lineman Isaac Remington, several media sources stated Tuesday.

EUGENE, Ore.,- Oregon head coach Chip Kelly confirmed the facts at his weekly press conference, but was unwilling to discuss the possibility of lifting the suspension due to the proximity of the news.

Kelly said he had just heard the confirmation following Tuesday's practice and a press release would be made once Remington's reinstatement with the team was finalized.

Remington missed Thursday's win over Arizona State while serving a suspension due to the charges.
