SEATTLE -- After leading 23-19 at the half, Oregon (5-0, 2-0) lowered the boom on Washington State at CenturyLink Field in Seattle and posted a convincing 51-26 win in front of 60,929 fans. Kenjon Barner finished the game with 195 net yards of the total 300 yards of Oregon rushing. Barner had three touchdowns even though the Ducks were held to a season low of 469 yards of total offense.

Kenjon Barner also pulled in a receiving touchdown, part of his three catches for the game. Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw for 169 yards on 21-of-32, with one TD but was intercepted once and sacked twice. De'Anthony Thomas was the leading receiver with six grabs for 28 yards while Braylon Addison had four catches for 23 yards.

Mariota also rushed for a total of 56 yards including a 13-yard touchdown. Thomas also scored running for a four-yard touchdown among his 26 yards of rushing.

On defense Avery Patterson picked off Connor Halliday during the third quarter and returned the ball 34 yards for a touchdown. Hallliday was sacked seven times by the Oregon defense. Halliday had a good day throwing the ball though, making 33 successful tosses from 60 attempts for 348 yards, one touchdown to Brett Bartolone. All-time WSU leading receiver Marquess Wilson had 182 yards on 12 catches and pulled in a Jeff Tuel pass for a score.

For the game Oregon had 469 yards of total offense to WSU's 402.
