EUGENE -- The Oregon Ducks defense shined in the first half against Arizona, holding the Wildcats out of the endzone on four redzone possessions and went into the lockerroom leading 13-0.

Marcus Mariota was 11-for-21 for 122 yards and a touchdown pass to Daryle Hawkins. Robby Beard was successful on two field goal attempts of 27 and 41 yards.

De'Anthony Thomas was the leading rusher for the game with 50 yards on 10 carries while Kenjon Barner had 49 yards on 14 totes.

Arizona quarterback Matt Scott was 10-for-21 for 78 yards and one interception. Scott was also the Cat's leading rusher with 17 yards on four carries.

Both teams had two turnovers in the first half.
