Jordan's the Leader But Knows He Has Help

Oregon senior defensive end Dion Jordan is already on a couple of post-season awards watch lists, so naturally, most think of him as the leader of the Duck defensive line, a title he is willing to take. Jordan like the role but admits he has some help. He also likes the new faces that are now on the Oregon roster.

Dion Jordan was the top sack leader Ducks last season recording a total 7.5 sacks of his 13 tackles for loss. He ranked fifth in the conference on a team that led the conference with a total of 45.

Jordan is on the Ted Hendricks and Bednarik Awards watch list for 2012.

Oregon started fall camp on Monday, August 6th and will open the season on September 1, at Autzen Stadium against Arkansas State, in a game carried on ESPN with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
