WHATEVER THE REASONS, writes Jim Moore in a column for the Kitsap Daily Sun, he is going to miss hearing Jim Walden on Saturdays in the fall at Washington State.

"I don't want people to think I died and crawled into a hole," Walden tells Moore, noting he plans to host a tailgate or two outside Martin Stadium this fall.
