Oregon picked up another men's basketball recruit for the 2012 recruiting class when Fred Richardson, 6-5, 190, Clear Brook HS, Friendswood, Texas, twittered that he had committed Oregon on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Fred Richardson onthe May 1, 2012 announced his commitment via Twitter he committed to Oregon.

According MaxPreps Richardson averaged 20.1 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Richardson becomes the fifth prospective student-athlete to commit to Dana Altman's program for 2012.
