Whitaker Looking Forward To Oregon Visit

With only one offensive lineman verbally committed for their 2012 recruiting class, Oregon has turned it's attention to Murrieta (CA) Vista Murrieta two-star offensive lineman Corey Whitaker, who has gained late notice by several programs. Currently on an official visit to Nebraska, Whitaker was kind enough to take some time to discuss the latest with the Ducks.

Do you currently have an offer from Oregon? "No not yet." What kind of contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you? "Contact started in December. I gave coach [Tom] Osborne a call and then I had coach [Don] Pellum down at my school, who was down there for [Oregon verbal commit] Jeremy Castro.
