The University of Oregon's De'Anthony Thomas added another post-season award when he was selected as the co-recipient of the 2011 CFPA Kick Returner Trophy according to CFPA Executive Directory Brad Smith.

DeAnthony Thomas led the Pac-12 Conference in kick off returns with an average of 27.3 yards per kick return including a 96-yard return for a touchdown against USC and a 93-yard return for score against Washington State.

The College Football Performance Awards Executive also honored Texas' Foswhitt Whittaker with the trophy too.

Thomas was the national leader among freshmen with 18 touchdowns, Thomas' 983 kickoff return yards were the second-most in school history for a single season. He totaled 2,235 all-purpose yards, also ranking No. 2 on Oregon's all-time season list, and was the Ducks' top receiver with 605 yards.
