Oregon On Top For Henderson
"No, I do not."
What kind of contact have you had with Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?
"They've been contacting my coach lately...I was supposed to go to their camp, but I wasn't able to make it this summer, so I'm going up and visiting soon."
Have you set a date as far as your visit to Oregon?
"No, I'm not sure yet. I need to talk to my parents."
Do you know which coaches from Oregon have been in touch with your coach?
"No, I'm not sure."
Do you know how often they've been talking to your coach?
"It was mainly during the season."
What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point?
"Very high. I would love to go to Oregon...that's one of my favorite schools that I have. If I were to get an offer from them, I would probably look forward to going there."
What is it about the school and program that has you so interested?
"For one, their coaching staff and what they've done the last couple of years. They've been ranked a lot and they've been winning a lot of big games and so I would like to be a part of that legacy."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"I'd describe myself as a dual-threat kind of athlete...that's probably it. I'm mostly athletic and a good leader."
Is there anyone at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after at all?
"Well, quarterback-wise, I look up to Drew Brees because he does a lot of stuff you can learn from. He's always positive about everything and he takes good control of the game, so I'd say Drew Brees."
What are you looking for in a program?
"Good coaching staff, a good history and background of football, and school-wise, somewhere that has what I'm looking for academically and somewhere where I know I will fit in and have fun where I'm playing."
Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study when you get to college?
"I want to do something like sports journalism or sports broadcasting...something along those lines."
What are some of the offers that you currently hold from other schools?
"I have UNLV and pending right now is Southern Utah and Nevada. Utah State is pending too."
Do you have a list of favorites right now out of the schools that you've been hearing from?
"The top five schools I'd have in my top five right now would be: Oregon, Nevada, Arkansas, Washington and probably UNLV...cause it's hometown."
As far as camps and unofficial visits go, where have you been and where do you plan on going this summer?
"I went up to Southern Utah -- I just came back from there -- and I went up to Nevada a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to be visiting Oregon and Washington soon."
