Freshman Cited for MIP

Oregon Head Football Coach Chip Kelly issued a statement on Sunday indicating he was "deeply concerned" regarding the events surrounding freshman linebacker Tyson Colman's arrest and citation for minor in possession of alcohol on Saturday night.

Tyson Coleman was arrested on Saturday night by Eugene Police was also charged with interfering with a police officer. Coleman was part of Oregon's 2011 recruiting class and has been enrolled in the university since March. He participated in spring workouts. The 18-year old is from Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Kelly indicated he had no further comment until more information is available.
