Kelly Suspends Walk On QB

EUGENE – University of Oregon Football Coach Chip Kelly and Athletics Director Rob Mullens were informed Saturday morning of the arrest of walk-on redshirt freshman quarterback Dustin Haines, stemming from a weekend incident at Haines' residence, with Kelly suspending the South Eugene High School graduate from the team pending the collection of further information.

Haines, who ran for 1 yard and caught a pass for 18 yards in four appearances last season, was charged with excessive noise, interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest.
