The Pacific-10 Conference today announced that wide receiver Jeff Maehl was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week resulting from his performance against USC in Oregon's 53-32 win on Saturday night.

Jeffery Maehl caught eight passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns in a game that launched the Oregon Ducks into the top position of the BCS rankings.

Maehl's 145 yards and three TDs are career bests for the senior. Maehl, who ranks seventh on the Ducks' all-time career receptions list with 148, also earned honorable mention national wide receiver performer of the week from the College Football Performance Awards, and received a helmet sticker from ESPN's national weekly wrap-up show College Football Final.

The weekly conference honor was the sixth by an Oregon player this season.
